Because there is mounting evidence that dairy is not a good thing for kids http://www.todaysparent.com/blogs/on-our-minds/should-schools-ban-milk; or http://www.huffingtonpost.com/dr-mark-hyman/dairy-free-dairy-6-reason_b_558876.html ; or http://www.hsph.harvard.edu/nutritionsource/what-should-you-eat/calcium-full-story/#calcium-from-milk I want to help you make the switch as easily and stress free as possible if you decide that reducing or removing dairy is good for your family.
A good place to start is to write down your 3 favourite dairy products and email me or message me for available alternatives. Here are examples of alternatives that I wrote down and used because they were the 3 most difficult dairy products for me to quit. Thank good ness for alternatives. There are so many brands, so many flavours within the brands that the opportunities to find something that suits your family’s tastes is absolutely possible.
1. Cheese
2. Ice Cream
3. Coffee Creamer
I look forward to helping in any way that I can,
Penny

Hi Penny! I’m not a huge yogurt fan but do enjoy it in shakes. It seems that I have an allergy (get headaches) to almond milk so I think almond yogurt would be out of the picture. Any other recommends? Thanks for this post — it’s a huge help!
Hi Megan,
So Delicious makes amazing soy, dairy, free yogurt! I mix it with the coconut milk to make my smoothies in the morning. Give it and try and let me know what you think!
Take care, Penny
