Did you know that Lunch Mate Stackers cheese, crackers, meat, & kit kat lunch pack contains over 50 ingredients most of which I can’t pronounce? Also, the packaging is a #7 on the list of plastics, which is difficult to recycle and can leach BPAs into your child’s food. Chemicals stored in chemicals.
Thankfully it’s easy to recreate them at home. It won’t look the same (or have the same packaging ) but the this is where it is so important to talk with your children, educate them on why you are making a change. The earlier you start the easier it will be!
If you take an extra 5 minutes to prepare meat, crackers & other fun/healthy alternatives for your child’s lunch you will be making a difference.
Here is an example of a lunch that will take an extra 5-10 minutes to prepare:
*Important to note that by buying the meat and crackers, making homemade muffins for the week and adding the fruit and vegetables I saved money.

Delena loves this style of lunch. I call it the “party tray”. I pre-chop veggies and fruit every couple of days so it’s easy to put together. With shorter lunch times and cold lunches it”s a great way to create a balanced meal that she has enough time to eat! Thanks for sharing Penny.
